🥗 Southwest Taco Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 packet (or homemade) taco seasoning

  • Romaine or leaf lettuce, chopped

  • Cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Black beans, drained and rinsed

  • Sweet corn, fresh or canned

  • Shredded cheddar cheese

  • Avocado, diced

  • Crushed tortilla chips

  • Ranch or chipotle-lime dressing

Instructions:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then season with taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  2. Build your salad with a base of lettuce, then layer on tomatoes, black beans, corn, cheese, avocado, and seasoned beef.

  3. Top with crushed tortilla chips and your favorite dressing.

Optional Add-Ons: Pickled onions, jalapeños, or a squeeze of fresh lime.
