🥗 Southwest Taco Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet (or homemade) taco seasoning
Romaine or leaf lettuce, chopped
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Black beans, drained and rinsed
Sweet corn, fresh or canned
Shredded cheddar cheese
Avocado, diced
Crushed tortilla chips
Ranch or chipotle-lime dressing
Instructions:
Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then season with taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Build your salad with a base of lettuce, then layer on tomatoes, black beans, corn, cheese, avocado, and seasoned beef.
Top with crushed tortilla chips and your favorite dressing.
Optional Add-Ons: Pickled onions, jalapeños, or a squeeze of fresh lime.
